9.1.08 / CLASSIC JUNO REACTOR CD'S RE-ISSUED BY METROPOLIS

Finding a copy of "Luciana" by Juno Reactor these days is quite impossible, but that is about to change thanks to Metropolis who will be re-issuing not just that very hard to find classic Juno Reactor release, but a few others as well. In August the first re-issue "Bible Of Dreams" was issued by Metropolis. "Bible Of Dreams" was originally released on the now legendary Blue Room Released label in 1998. Another Blue Room favorite and arguably their best CD "Beyond The Infinite" was also finally re-issued in August by Metropolis. Coming up in September are two more Juno Reactor classics including the most sought after release of all time "Luciana" which will be available for the first time in ages at a normal low CD price. Rounding out the re-issues in September is the debut CD from Juno Reactor "Transmissions" featuring the classic singles "High Energy Protons" and "Laughing Gas". We will be sure to get some of these added to our inventory in the months ahead so you can pick up these must have CDs.

9.1.08 / CACTUS ISLAND RECORDINGS UNVEILS NEW SITE, GOES MP3 ONLY

Cactus Island Recordings has re-launched their website (as of 08/30/08) with a simple new design that is no longer flash based. The label has made it clear on the front page of their site that they will no longer be releasing CDs due to production costs and CD sales dropping over the past few years. The label will continue with new releases that are in mp3 format only, starting with "Smeg" by label owners Maps & Diagrams, and followed by the first release from Bichi titled "Erobreren". 10.31.07 / NEO OUIJA LABEL REBORN FOR 2008

Lee Norris's Neo Ouija label started in 2000 but after only 5 years closed down in late 2005. Neo Ouija helped usher in the new millennium with the first CD release "Cottage Industries" a compilation that showcased the talents of up and coming artists like Phonem, Herrmann & Kleine, Quinoline Yellow, Yunx, and Solenoid. Along with that compilation series, the label featured top artists like Sense, Xela, Kettel, Verbose, Funckarma, Apparat, and many others on their roster. The 2001 CD by Sense "A View From A Vulnerable Place" has gone on to be known as one of the best IDM CDs of this decade. With such an outstanding artist lineup, and excellent CD selections, it was sad to see the label shut down in 2005, and fans were shocked since other top labels like Merck had announced they too were ceasing operations. But now it appears Neo Ouija is coming back.

As of fall of 2007, Neo Ouija has started operations once again with new label manager Martin Hirsch. Lee Norris is still working with the label and is set to release a new 12" vinyl collaboration with David Moufang in early 2008 under their Norken & Move D monikers. Norris is also releasing a Nacht Plank CD "Broad Tape Band" in 2008 that will feature his early tracks from the Microwave Recordings label along with brand new tracks as well. The 5th "Cottage Industries" compilation subtitled "Diaspora" will also be released in 2008 as a double CD with new tracks from Fluxion, Norken, Move D, Kangding Ray and many others. Other releases set for early 2008 include new CDs from Honey Sacrifice ("Nights In Columbus"), and Tilman Ehrhorn ("Past Utopia").

	Sending Orbs has made quite an impact on the world of electronic music in it's short
life span. The label is barely three years old and it has already established itself as one of the best IDM labels in operation today, thanks to the quality production on each release and the gorgeous insert artwork by Jeroen Advocaat. The first CD issued by the label after launching in 2005 was "Through Friendly Waters", a masterpiece from the prolific artist Kettel who has produced several CDs for the labels Neo Ouija, U-Cover, and Kracfive among others. The second release from Sending Orbs was "Tryshasla" by Secede, and it proved to be even more popular than the first as the initial run of 1000 copies sold out in less than a year's time, and the second batch of of an additional 500 discs sold out in only a few months. "Tryshasla" would go on to become one of the most critically acclaimed electronic music CDs of the year, and all of the praise was befitting the disc's beautiful soundscapes and captivating dream-like melodies. We are proud to announce that both "Through Friendly Waters" and "Tryshasla" are available right now at SynthetixSounds.com! We have the final remaining sealed copies of "Tryshasla" in stock, obtained directly from Sending Orbs, and a few sealed copies of Kettel's "Through Friendly Waters".
